Are you not on 5 live on the 31st and the 14th or is that yet to be confirmed? I do hope it's either you or Kermode. Can't stand some of the other people they rope in to do the reviews sometimes.
I'll go on holiday for you if you like - i've got nothing else on.

I'm glad you are back on News24 (as it's no longer called) as some of those they've had depping for Dr K have been, well, not great.
Is there a TV outlet for a film review show (apart from the Jonathan Ross one)? I know they have come and gone over the years but surely there must be some sort of market for one?
Anna, indeed, it's not a bad life if you're happy to be holiday cover, which I am, whose work is dependent on illness and absence. A presenter who's more of a prima donna than me might question why they were always the bridesmaid and almost never the bride. But, as I say, I'm glad of the work. Let the other people have the tantrums.
Let's not forget an appearance on VRN 1287AM (hospital radio) in Kirkcaldy, Fife to be broadcast on either 23rd or 30th August!

After being made redundant at Christmas (for the second time from the same job) I'm currently being paid a fortune to do the same job again as a contractor, in part due to people being ill. I've just about perfected a smile that I think says, "You know, if you hadn't made me redundant..." (But which probably just looks creepy.)

On Tuesday I was in for Lauren Laverne, who is in for Cerys Matthews, who's in for Nemome while she's on maternity leave. So, yes.
very pleasant surprise it was- tho Cerys is all right- I'm only really listening at that time because I'm 8 hours in the future, and its my eventide relaxation
I dont like ;Mark Kermode, Jeremy Paxman, Johnathon Ross, Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, Peter Mandleson, David Cameron...
They are arrogant, bullish, obnoxious authoritarian and horrid. sack them all, teach them some humility.
